In the 2015 budget speech the PM states that Foreign Entrepreneurs would be able to register start-up enterprises with a minimal RM75,000 paid up capital requirement, in return for an initial 1 year work pass. Could you kindly offer some guidance on the likely effective date of this policy?

This will be part of the MaGIC Accelerator Program with a targeted launch date in Q1/Q2 2015. Only accepted participants for the MAP will be entitled to this 1 year work pass, as things stand.
