Currently Me and my partner is working on a plan, and we believe it will surprise to everyone in Malaysia because it close market yet and is a very something new and innovate to Malaysia. I am looking at developing a mobile application and thereafter a web app, on IBM platform. At this stage I am seeking to open up a company (Sdn Bhd) in Malaysia for both funding and to pay developers to do the development work.
I need the funding approved asap so development work can commence during my stay in malaysia. I noted your magic program is offering some internship type opportunities, I am happy to pay some of your good developers through your eco system. Ideally candidates who has worked with IBM worklight or Bluemix is ideal but will work with anyone with HTML5, CSS or Javascript abilities.
I will only hire Malaysian staff if I can get grant funding awarded to me, I noted there are several programmes that can provide grant funding, Innocert or MSC. I would appreciate some assistance in helping me weed through best option.

MaGIC cooperate with FAMA in MaGIC Central to facilitate agricultural startups. You can set up meeting with them here or post more enquiries that is related to their functions.
With regards to obtaining land for agriculture, you can apply for idle land lots compiled by Department of Agriculture here.

Inquiry about cost for Apps making
Me and my friend just graduated from UPM, and we thought of creating a commercial apps to encourage car pooling in university. Both of us can't make apps, so we are thinking of having others to make the apps for us. We want to know the cost of making and (monthly) maintenance such car pooling apps, before we decide whether it worth for us to put in more effort, such as marketing research and to discuss with university.
I'm not very sure if this is something to seek assistant from MAGIC, but could you gave me a rough idea on the typical price range on making mobile apps (android and ios), and their maintenance fees? Or provide me a list of company who does provide such services?
Below are a rough draft of how the apps will be use:
1. Login page (Based on university given ID and Password, therefore no need for Sign Up option.)
2. Driver or Passenger upload offer on prices and location, and wait for matching.
3. After the system match, both party(Driver/Passenger) can view the information of other party, and make final confirmation whether to accept the 'Deal'.
4. Once 'Deal', payment will be deduct from Passenger account, but we will hold on to the payment until the Passenger confirm that the drive is over, then only we transfer the payment to Driver account after deducting our services charge.
We hope MAGIC can shed us some light.

Dear Lina,
For the 1st questions, we encourages teamwork and discourages a “one-man show”. Therefore, there must be a Primary Applicant and at least a Secondary Applicant. There is always a strong management team in any successful businesses. Therefore, if you have a strong team, the probability of your idea receiving the grant is higher.
And for the 2nd questions, Primary Applicant and each team members will be sign the agreement. And each of the signing parties will be responsible equally in case the project fails.
For the last questions, It is a case to case basis, either lum sum payment or staggered payment
